The Devil and The Rockstar

... would be a great name for a band. But instead, it's the title of the 2007 Blecha children's Halloween. Below are pictures of the kids on what is becoming one of my favorite holidays.

Joel and I are party-poopers and take the kids to the mall... pretty much because it's warm and we don't feel like hauling them around the neighborhood. However, Jocelyn has now figured out (and by "figured out" I mean that her mouthy little friends told her) that trick-or-treating is to be properly done door-to-door and not store-to-store, so the jig is up and next year we'll be forced to brave the elements like all of the other "good" parents.

The kids were great and had a wonderful time. The night's biggest milestone was that mommy finally caved into daddy's constant prodding that "just a little bit of _______ (insert junk food item here)" won't kill Jericho. So he gummed on a Tootsie-Roll. And loved it. Great. Talk about opening Pandora's Box. But I must say that it was pretty stinkin' cute and worth the momentary sugar rush that ensued.
