November 4th, 2008 - Did you vote?

I am moved. Speachless. Proud. Choking back tears and feeling my skin well with goose bumps as I type this.

I am so proud to be a part of a country that has taken such a huge step in our election of our nation's first African-American President. This is an event that our children will ask us about as they study it in history class years from now.

I have been pulling for Obama since he was named as the Democratic nominee, and I am excited to the point of nearly being giddy to think what is in store for our nation in the coming months and years. I can finally feel the winds of change sweeping over our nation.

Hope won.
